and below are a
few words and a couple of photos
from our
supporter Steve
Busby who ran
the race in a
heart costume:
"Many thanks
for organising
such a enjoyable
event in London
on the 30th May.
I have enclosed
a couple of
pictures from
the day which
you are welcome
to use on your
website. I
was running on
my 50th and was
running in
memory of
Denise's son
David Forway who
died of an
undiagnosed
heart condition
at the age of
31. I very
much enjoyed the
experience of
running around
the London
streets taking
in some of the
famous landmarks
and had fun
running in the
heart costume.
I have just
about collected
in my
sponsorship
which I will
forward to you
in two cheques.
One of the
cheques is from
my employer
Northumbrian
Water for £50
and they are
pleased to be
helping such a
worthy cause.
Once again thank
you for such a
lovely day and
we hope to join
you again in
future events."
