The reason for the club
organizing this event is
that one of the swimmers
is myself, Chris Smith,
and I have a lot to
thank CRY for as in
March 2009 I went along
to one of your
screenings as a fit
and healthy swimmer (or
so I thought).
At the screening I was
diagnosed with
Wolfe
Parkinson White Syndrome,
I was then referred to
Sanjay Sharma in London
who then performed more
tests and recommended me
to have a Catheter
Ablation. I had the
procedure in November
2009 and was given a
clean bill of health in
Feburary 2010. I am now
back swimming fit and
well, and leading a
normal life thanks to
you.
The club raised £3390
in total.
