Hey, I'm Raychel Patrick. I'm
14, and I'm from south east Kentucky. I was born at Paul B. Haul Regional
Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.
I was born a healthy baby,
nothing appeared to be wrong. About 6 hours after I was born, the nurse walked
into the nursery, and I was grey.
Anyway,
I ended up being flown to Hunnington WV. in a helicopter. I was then
placed in the care of Dr. Hydarian. He saved my life.
I was on heart medication
until I was one year old, then he winged me off it.
Now once a year I go back for
the check up. I'm not allowed to drink or eat stuff with a lot of
caffeine in it, or energy drinks, or diet pills, but I'm just happy to be
alive :)
