Silvia & Tim Salisbury

Ruth was with a group of friends watching a film on TV, while on holiday in the New Forest, when she turned to a friend and said ‘I feel dizzy’.

She then fell to the floor from her chair. Although her friend rushed for her mother, a qualified nurse, and she was attended to in 3 minutes, they were not able to revive her.

She appeared to be a happy, healthy, energetic teenager, she died of an undiagnosed heart defect at the age of 14 in October 1997.
