CRY Chief Executive awarded MBE

The day of the Investiture was the most beautiful Autumn day with all the gold ironwork on the gates at Buckingham Palace glinting brilliantly in the sunlight and us feeling ever so grand as we drove through the palace gates. 

A truly surreal occasion and I was so proud to be there representing CRY’s work and what we have so far accomplished. 

Still quite a long way to go but we are making inroads and our voice is being heard, thanks to all of you.

And as you can see I did actually wear a proper hat – as so many of you particularly requested!
