"The Black and Blue Ball" - Charity Black Tie Ball

6th September 2008

Old Alleynian FC, Dulwich Common, London, SE21 7HA

Just a quick note to let you know about a wonderful opportunity to attend this year's premier social occasion, Old Alleynian Rugby Club's "Black and Blue Ball" on Saturday the 6th September.

The event is a Charity Black Tie Ball, hosted in a marquee on Old Alleynian's picturesque grounds near Dulwich Common, and is being held to raise money to support both our rugby club and 'Cardiac Risk in the Young' - a charity chosen due to the tragic death of one of our ex-players this season, during his first match for a new club.

Whilst final details of the ball are still being planned, tickets are likely to be £45, and for this you'll get at the very least a welcome cocktail on arrival, a sit down three-course meal, wine on the table and a full evening of entertainment and dancing, 7pm until 2am.

We held a similar ball three years ago which was a rip-roaring success - if you're likely to be interested, please put the date in your diary now.

John Hartley, Old Alleynian FC
