On October 29th
2010 our beloved son Lyndon Cook went to bed and didn’t wake up; he was
only 29 years old.
He died from a
heart attack caused by Coronary Heart Disease that he never knew he
had. He was a healthy young man who ate healthily and rarely drank
alcohol. He was so proud to have lost 2½ stone shortly before his
death.
He was a polite,
friendly and a well-mannered young man and was loved by everyone who had
the privilege of knowing him. He was quiet with people he did not know
well, but with his friends and family he was well known for his
affectionate laughter and one-liner jokes.
This photograph
was taken just 3 months before he passed; he was enjoying a family
barbecue for his cousin’s birthday. We had such a wonderful day that
day and we cherish the memories that we are left with.
We have
previously lost two other children - Andrew Cook aged 4 days and Sharon
Cook aged 3 years - both with heart problems also. |
