A friendly soccer game arranged by friends of a Coppenhall High School pupil who collapsed at a training session with his team-mates at the Cumberland Sports Ground in April last year.

The event raised £288.  Since Ben's death, family and friends have been raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY),  Christian charity which provides help and support to vulnerable children around the world. 

The match is the latest in fundraising efforts and follows another charity football match last October and a round-the-clock pool marathon in January.
