Pupils at Coppenhall High in Coronation Street at Crewe are running their own fundraising fair at the school on Friday from 10am to 4pm. 

The event will have a range of attractions and will be dedicated to former pupil Ben Carter who died suddenly last year. 

Pupils Laura Maher and Rachel Surridge explained: "Many people knew Ben including our own form tutor and his brother Sam is in our form.  So our form 7N have decided to do the fair to raise money for CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young.
