CRY screening event in Ealing, funded by the Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund

Nearly 90 people were tested at the latest free CRY heart screenings in Ealing on Sunday, November 10th 2013.  The screenings were funded by the Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund and Tom’s mum, Claire Prosser, said:  “This is the fifth year in a row we have been able to hold screenings in West London thanks to fundraising by our friends and supporters. We are pleased that so many people took up the opportunity in the month that would have been Tom’s 21st birthday”

She added “As ever, we are grateful to the CRY team for their enthusiasm and professionalism and for Dr David Evans and the team at the Florence Road Surgery in Ealing for hosting the event.”

Of the 86 people tested, 8 will have further reviews.

Ealing schoolboy Tom Clabburn died aged 14 in 2007. He was one of the 12 young people a week aged 14-35 who die from an undiagnosed heart condition.
