Children
of St Patrick’s Primary School in Kilsyth last week handed over a cheque for
£650 to Stephen and Elizabeth Kelly on Friday for the charity Cardiac Risk in
the Young (CRY). The money was raised throughout November by a sponsored walk
and sale of the charity’s wristbands.
Mr and Mrs Kelly lost a son,
James, a pupil at the school, to a cardiac problem three years ago. The
Kelly’s, who now live in Carrickstone, and the school, thank everyone who
supported the venture. And they even brought along daughter Amy, now five and
a half months old, to help receive the school’s special tribute, presented by
Erin Murphy, 11, and Jonathon Morrison, 10, to the memory of her big brother.
