Deeside Rotary
Club’s festive fundraising has been a real cracker, the treasurer reported
this week.
The total collected from the
Christmas Float up to December 18 was £1,481. This was collected from
Broughton Shopping Park, Ewloe Auctions, Somerfield Supermarket and the
Connah’s Quay Christmas Lights ceremony.
Meanwhile, the final distribution of the
money held from the Auction of Promises has now been agreed and is £250 to the
St Vincent de Paul charity at Queensferry, and £250 to CRY (Cardiac Risk in
the Young) in Connah’s Quay.
