CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young - held a cross-party event at the House of Commons the other day, which I was happy to support.

CRY Parliamentary Reception 2006

On July 5^th CRY hosted its annual Parliamentary Reception at Westminster.  The event was attended by new CRY Patron David Walliams, along with many MPs and other guests.  Speakers included Andy Burnham MP, Annette Brooke MP, Tim Loughton MP and Dari Taylor MP.

Former MP Ivan Henderson, who is featured in the book came along to give support along with current Harwich MP Douglas Carswell.  Caroline Gard, the mother of 17-year-old Andy Gard from Frinton who died in 1997 from a sudden heart failure, also attended the signing.
