Valentine tribute to sportsman

Driffield Times -  18th February 2009

Organisers of a charity Valentine dance held in memory of a popular Driffield sportsman have thanked supporters after the final total raised was announced.

The event, which took place at the Driffield Town Cricket club on Saturday night, raised £1,856 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

The dance was staged in memory of club member and local sportsman Graham Harrison, who died suddenly last year aged just 19.

Event organiser Pam Woodcock said she was pleased with the success of the evening and wanted to thank everyone who supported the dance.

Special thanks go to Dave and Terry for providing the music and to Janet, Jenny and Sarah for their help with the food and raffle.
