Charity fund hopes

East Anglian Daily Times - 5th November 2005

A Woodbridge man hopes to raise more money for a children’s charity by raffling off a signed football shirt from Premiership champions Chelsea.

Mark Fox is already planning a nine day trek across the Sahara in March to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Now he is holding a charity raffle at the Kings Head, Woodbridge, on Saturday December 17.

Mr Fox said: “I’ve managed to get hold of a signed Chelsea shirt featuring members of the 2005/06 teams.  It’s also got a certificate of authentication with it to prove it’s the real deal.”

Mr Fox decided to raise money for CRY following the unexpected death of his 13-year-old sister from sudden adult death syndrome.
