Graham has it all mapped out (gruelling charity ride)

Express & Star (Walsall) -  24th June 2008

A Walsall geography teacher is preparing to cycle the gruelling 1,000-mile route from Land's End to John O'Groats for charity.

Mr Graham Collins, 29, of Queen Mary's Grammar School, Sutton Road, will be completing the trip over ten days in July.

The ride will raise cash for Cardiac Risk in the Young CRY.  The charity aims to diagnose heart defects before they prove fatal.

Mr Collins will be joined by three others on the ride.  One of the team, his brother-in-law James Brown, lost his wife Kagrina to a Sudden Cardiac Syndrome.  Since her death the group has been raising cash.

Mr Collins said: "We have been raising as much money as we can for CRY, completing the London Marathon and London Triathlon, the 3 Peaks, the Welsh 3000s as well as many other half marathons and spring triathlons along with way."

The teacher added: "This year, however, we want to do a different challenge.
