It's a sell out - and it's all for charity.
Junior authoress, Julie Tanner, 13, has reason to
be cheerful after selling the entire first run of 2,500 copies of her debut
book in just two months.
Her bestseller, 101 Reasons to Get Up in the
Morning contains celebrities' favourite inspirational quotations.
The youngster - who lives at Dale Hill,
Kirby-le-Soken - approached more than 400 celebrities from the world of
politics, entertainment and sport to see what inspired them, including Prime
Minister Tony Blair, tennis legend John McEnroe and actor Hugh Grant.
The book now looks set to raise thousands of
pounds for CRY - the charity that works to prevent sudden cardiac deaths in
the young.
It was inspired by the death of family friend and
Frinton teenager, Andy Gard.
Julie, who went to St Philomena's School at
Frinton and now attends Colchester County High School for Girls, has been
the subject of TV and newspaper interviews worldwide.
Next week she is set to give a talk to Frinton
Rotarians.
"She takes it all in her stride," said her proud
dad, Eddie.
"It has not gone to her head at all."
She is Canterbury Press's youngest author, and a
spokesman for the company said: "It has gone incredibly well."
The book is now out of stock but a second run will
be published.
