At the meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Frome at the Mendip Lodge Hotel on July 11, president Hazel Shaw handed over her chain of office to this year's president Janet Pang. 

At the meeting, Mrs Pang thanked Mrs Shaw for a successful, eventful year in which more than £2,000 had been raised for the Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance, CRY and various overseas charities. 

She looked forward to an enjoyable year with good speakers and fun events. 

Her charity this year is the Macmillan Fund, as well as other Inner Wheel charities.
