A charity tennis tournament raised £350 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of a former Broxbourne Tennis Club member who died aged 15.

More than 20 pairs competed in the James Wood family doubles tournament, with brother-and-sister team Charlie and Kate Hill claiming victory.

The tournament is held annually at Broxbourne Tennis Club in memory of James Wood and trophies were presented by his mother Gill.

The runners up were Reg and Kasra Kiknam and the winners of the wooden racket final were Jim and Alison Aylward.

The club is inviting juniors and adults of all abilities to come along to an open day on Saturday May 10.
