A charity tennis tournament raised £350 for
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of a former Broxbourne Tennis Club
member who died aged 15.
More than 20 pairs competed in the James Wood
family doubles tournament, with brother-and-sister team Charlie and Kate
Hill claiming victory.
The tournament is held annually at Broxbourne
Tennis Club in memory of James Wood and trophies were presented by his
mother Gill.
The runners up were Reg and Kasra Kiknam and the
winners of the wooden racket final were Jim and Alison Aylward.
The club is inviting juniors and adults of all
abilities to come along to an open day on Saturday May 10.
