Jack Boulton Memorial Fund devoting £50,000 to research

Keynsham Voice, 9th November 2017

Jack Boulton passed away in August 2009 of an undiagnosed heart condition, since then his parents, June & Dave Boulton have raised an incredible £115,000 for CRY. The family have funded heart screenings for around 600 young people since 2013, and it has now been announced that £50,000 of the fund will go towards research projects.

CRY CEO Dr Steven Cox said, “The efforts of Dave, June and Lucy have already been incredible, leading to hundreds of young people being screened for heart conditions in memory of Jack. This new commitment to funding research will have a massive impact and will enable another doctor to be trained to become a specialist in the prevention of young sudden cardiac death.”
