Kilimanjaro Climb in memory of Jack Rae

September 2008

Helen Brisco and myself climbed Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, in September 2008 to raise money for CRY in memory of my younger brother Jack Rae who died suddenly of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in February 2006, at age 11.

Jack and I had plans to climb the mountain together when he left high school but sadly he didn't make it that far, so I climbed it for him taking him with me in spirit every step of the way!

We raised £2,803.45 with help from our family and friends, and the local schools Howick C.E. Primary School, Hutton Grammar School and Penwortham Girls' High School.
