Everything is ticking along nicely here!
Around 200 young people between the ages of 14 and
35 attended a free heart screening session, in the car park at Morrison's
supermarket, in Mariners Way, Ashton.
The mobile CRY unit tested young people for heart
conditions last weekend, after Preston Councillor Christine Abram raised the
money during her year as mayor from 2007 until 2008.
she said: "It was unbelievable - it was a huge
success.
"To the people who supported us during the mayor
year, thank you."
Preston North End goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan
stopped off for a test, along with former Coronation Street actor Scott
Wright.
