Lincolnshire Echo (Gainsborough Edition) - 19th June 2007

Little Britain star David Walliams has undergone an ECG, to help promote the Heart Screening Awareness Partnership.

The partnership aims to raise awareness of Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome - killing up to eight young people a week in the UK.  Walliams is fronting the campaign for charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), which has teamed up with Philips, who will be supporting CRY, with ECG machines, technical support and care for CRY's patients and long term strategy.  Walliams is a patron of CRY and is very passionate about the charity.

He agreed to be filmed having an ECG and ECHO tests to demonstrate, to both children and parents, how easy and simple it is to have these tests.
