Fundraiser set for next challenge

Malling Chronicle -  12th June 2008

A Sevenoaks fundraiser hopes to add to the £120,000 he has amassed in the past year for a heart charity when he cycles from Lands End to John O' Groats in July.

James Brown, of Braeside Avenue, is setting his sights on raising at least £10,000 as well as the profile of Cardiac Risk in the Young.  His wife Katrina died of a heart defect aged just 30, moments after completing a 10k run in 2006.  The 31-year-old will be completing the 950-mile trip with friends Graham Collins, Katrina's brother-in-law, and Nigel Pearson and Tom Mitchell.
