Bungee jump in memory of Paul Leach

9th September 2007

On the 9th September Libby Forrest, Emma McGough and Adam Waite did a bungee jump off the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough to raise funds for CRY in memory of Paul Leach.

The bungee jump was an experience none of us will forget in a hurry. Standing on the edge of the bridge with nothing but the river below was scary to say the least!  However, the feeling of jumping off was incredible and something all of us agreed we would have done again instantly

The event itself raised over £1100 which is a testament to how loved and missed Paul is.

Thanks have to go to Adam for (a) the idea in the first place and (b) reminding me why we were doing it when I was stood at the top of the bridge waiting for my turn and had that awful feeling of dread! Made it that bit easier, mate!

Paul would have loved to have watched it and would have been proud of us all.
