Caroline Smart (aged 18) was a friend of Laura Moss at Millfield and bought CRY to the attention of Dr Sharpe, after which an interest grew which led to Dr Sharpe instigatigating the first school screening for Cardiac Abnormalities in this country. 124 students took up the offer of an ECG which was held at the medical centre on the premises of the school.
