The next day after the jump I had my GCSE
Art exam, which kept nerves about the jump away as I thought my Art exam
was slightly more daunting, silly as it may sound!
The jump itself was absolutely fantastic -
its definitely one of those once in a lifetime things that has to be
done. I would recommend it to anyone!
Also, knowing that the money I had raised
and collected was going to a very good cause really made me glad to be
doing the jump.
I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the
sponsors I got, and my Mum also helped to boost the sponsorship by
organising a barn dance. In the end, over £300 was raised.
I managed to get publicity in my local
newspaper to appeal for sponsors. In fact, the jump appeared in
three different papers - it was quite a shock to open the local paper
and see my picture with Jo Danbury (other jumper!) and friends!
