London to Paris Bike Ride - 2nd to 5th July
2008
Shona
Oxley completed this 285-mile cycling challenge to raise money and awareness for
CRY. Despite suffering punctures and enduring hills, Shona enjoyed
stunning scenery on the route and met lots of interesting fellow cyclists. |

Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle Ride - 14th to 26th
June 2008
Mike
Aylott and Adam Austin cycled 934 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats, to
raise money and awareness for CRY, in memory of Mike's fiancee (and Adam's
friend), Jane Starr. Jane died suddenly in May 2006 of an undiagnosed
heart condition - later identified as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - aged just
33. |

Race Across America - The World's Toughest Bicycle Race -
11th to 18th June 2008
The CRY Team of Richard Ball, Clive
Middleton, Greg Whyte and Mat Wilson have successfully completed the daunting
3000-mile Race Across America (RAAM) cycle race and achieved their goal of a top
3 finish!

London to Paris Cycle Ride in memory of Gregory
Highwood-Mack - 12th to 15th September 2007
Chris and
Elisabeth Mack joined 101 other cyclists on a 4 day, 450 kilometre cycle ride
from London to Paris, taking in magnificent - if somewhat hilly - scenery on
route. Chris and Elisabeth entered the event to raise money for CRY in memory of
Gregory Highwood-Mack. |

Martin and Susan Duffy, Sean McKay,
Michael Sayers, and Daniel and Claire Duffy took part in the 'Lap the Lough'
cycle event - riding one lap (95 miles) around Lough Neagh. |

The Big Heart Bike Ride - 14th to 23rd April
2007
The Big Heart Bike Ride
was a 10-day adventure in Cuba. The trip
featured 5 days of cycling (320km) around the island, plus plenty of sightseeing in Havana. The ride
took in quiet roads, passing
towns and villages that seemed frozen in time. Highlights of the ride
included the Bay of Pigs - famous for US aggression on Cuba in 1961;
and Santa Clara with its statue of the legendary Che Guevara. |

April 2007
John
Bonner, Billy McDonald and Con Bonner completed a 230 mile cycle ride on the
west coast of Ireland, to raise money for CRY in memory of James Kelly. |

Coast2Coast cycle ride in memory of Brice Ginisty -
25th to 28th September 2006
Jules
Drakeford and Kev Hines completed a 150-mile bike ride from Whitehaven to
Tynemouth, to raise money for CRY in memory of their friend, Brice.
Although the route was arduous at times, they were treated to some spectacular
views as they made their way through the Lake District and across the Pennines. |

Team Buzz 'Tour de
France' - August 2006
Mark Dee-Shapland and three friends -
known as Team Buzz - cycled the length of France to raise money and
awareness for CRY, in memory of Mark's sister Claire. CRY Patron John Inverdale, and Arsenal and England
footballer Theo Walcott, both gave their support to this CRY fundraising
event. |

grounds - 27th May to 2nd June 2006

Shore and Karl Rogers cycled to all 20 Barclays Premiership Football grounds to
raise money and awareness for CRY. On route, they battled strong headwinds
and rain - and got thoroughly fed up with eating energy bars! |

8th to 10th July 2005
As part
of their continuing fundraising efforts in memory of Ashley Livesey, Team Ash
took part in a three day cycling event from Whitehaven to Sunderland. |

Doug Cox rode the London to Brighton
bike ride in memory of his son Simon. Doug raised money for
CRY through sponsorship, and raised awareness of CRY by distributing
leaflets en route. |

sponsored bike ride in memory of Adam Donnelly. The team's

Rod Mason spent a very muddy 24 hours on his bike, to raise
money for CRY. |

First 250 mile CRY Cycle and 'Barking Billy and the Scrapyard Dogs
Brendan,
Levon’s older brother, and some of his friends, are cycled 250
miles around the counties of Durham and Northumberland, following
the shape of a heart. Barking
Billy and the Scrapyard Dogs (a band fronted by Levon’s dad) kicked off proceedings at O’Neill’s
Irish Bar. |
