CRY screening in Ealing, in memory of Tom Clabburn - 6th November 2011
Around 80 young people were given free heart screenings on Sunday as part of an event held in memory of Ealing schoolboy Tom Clabburn, who died aged 14 in 2007 from an undiagnosed heart condition.

CRY screening in Bude, Cornwall in memory of Martyn Luckett - 26th & 27th February 2011
We held our 2nd screening event in memory of Martyn on the 26th & 27th of February 2011, at the Parkhouse Centre in Bude.  As last year it was well supported.  We had almost the same numbers as last year, Saturday being the busiest day.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits West Ealing - 27th to 29th November 2010
A 3-day cardiac screening event took place in the car park of West Ealing Waitrose in partnership with the charity CRY and the Clabburn family, also from Ealing, who tragically lost their son, Tom, to sudden cardiac death syndrome in October 2007. He was aged just 14.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Sidcup - 20th to 22nd November 2010
The tour stopped in Sidcup for three days of cardiac screening outside the town’s Co-operative store.  This stop on the tour was in memory of local boy, Adam Donnelly, who died suddenly and unexpectedly from a previously undiagnosed heart condition, aged just 17.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Welwyn Garden City - 6th to 8th November 2010
The screening sessions took place outside the Panshanger Golf Complex; and were held in memory of local boy Mathew Blease, who died from an undiagnosed cardiac disease – viral myocarditis - aged just 13.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Oxford - 30th October to 1st November 2010
The screening sessions took place outside the town’s Tesco (Cowley) store; and were held in memory of teenager, Sebastian English, who died suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition whilst playing rugby in 2004. He was aged just 15.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Leamington Spa - 25th to 27th October 2010
Calor UK funded 3 days of screening at Leamington's Sainsbury's supermarket, as part of the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Handforth, Cheshire - 9th to 11th October 2010
The tour stopped in Handforth for three screening dates held in memory of local man David Harrop, who died suddenly in 2007 aged just 31.  The Handforth screenings received a great boost when a number of Sale Sharks rugby players - including England International Andrew Sheridan - visited the screening trailer to lend their support.

The screening sessions took place outside the Atherton Tesco supermarket; and the event was held in memory of Daniel Young who died suddenly in from an undiagnosed heart condition whilst playing football in 2005, aged just 16.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Preston - 25th & 26th September 2010
The CRY Test My Heart Tour 2010 stopped in Preston on the 25th and 26th of September and screened local young people.  The tour marked one of the flagship campaigns for CRY during its 15th anniversary year.

 

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits Durham - 18th to 20th September 2010
The first stop on the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 was in Durham, for three days of screening held in memory of Levon Morland.

Ernest Bevin College screening and launch of CRY "swimathons" - 28th June 2010
Students at Ernest Bevin College in Tooting were screened by CRY's expert team of doctors prior to commencing a week of sponsored swimming events to raise funds for CRY.  GB Rowing's Matt Wells - CRY Patron and Olympic bronze medallist - was also at the event to lend his support.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 finishes in Brentford - 29th June 2009
Today, charity Cardiac Risk in the Young and health and well-being company Philips unveil the first results from their Test My Heart Tour 09.  The tour visited 13 locations in England and tested over 2,000 young people’s hearts to detect any abnormalities that could lead to Sudden Death Syndrome.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Sidcup, Kent
The latest destination on the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 was Sidcup in Kent, on June 6 - 7.  This event was held in memory of
local resident
Adam Donnelly who died suddenly from a heart defect, aged just 17.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Nottingham
Nottingham University hosted the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 mobile screening trailer on June 2 - 3.  The screenings were held in memory of Nottingham University student Neil Desai,
who died suddenly from a heart defect, aged 22.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 in Preston - 30th & 31st May 2009
Around 230 young people were screened as the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visited Preston.  The event was also attended by Ben Wallace MP; Preston North End goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan; and former Coronation Street star Scott Wright; who all voiced their support for the screening tour.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Atherton, Manchester - 23rd & 24th May 2009
Andy Burnham MP lent his support to the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 as it visited Atherton on May 23 - 24.  This leg of the tour was held in memory of local resident Daniel Young, who died suddenly aged just 16.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Ormskirk, Lancashire - 12th & 13th May 2009
Everton footballer Leon Osman lent his support to the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 as it visited Ormskirk on May 12 - 13.  This leg of the tour was held in memory of Everton youth team player John Marshall, who died suddenly aged 16.

CRY mobile screening at the Reigate Manor Hotel - 19th October 2008

140 people were given ECG tests by the CRY mobile screening team, at an event organised by Rosemary and Graeme Attridge in memory of their son Stuart.
