CRY screening in Ealing, in
memory of Tom Clabburn - 6th November 2011
Around 80 young people were given free heart screenings on Sunday as
part of an event held in memory of Ealing schoolboy Tom Clabburn, who
died aged 14 in 2007 from an undiagnosed heart condition. |

CRY screening in Bude,
Cornwall in memory of Martyn Luckett - 26th & 27th February 2011
We
held our 2nd screening event in memory of
Martyn
on the 26th & 27th of February 2011, at the Parkhouse Centre in Bude.
As last year it was well supported. We had almost the same numbers as
last year, Saturday being the busiest day. |

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010
visits West Ealing - 27th to 29th November 2010
A 3-day
cardiac screening event took place in the car park of West Ealing
Waitrose in partnership with the charity CRY and the Clabburn family,
also from Ealing, who tragically lost their son, Tom, to sudden cardiac
death syndrome in October 2007. He was aged just 14. |

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 2010 visits
Sidcup - 20th to 22nd November 2010
The tour stopped in Sidcup for three days of cardiac screening
outside the town’s Co-operative store. This stop on the tour
was in memory of local boy, Adam Donnelly, who died suddenly and
unexpectedly from a previously undiagnosed heart condition, aged just
17.

Welwyn Garden City - 6th to 8th November 2010
The screening sessions took place outside the Panshanger Golf
Complex; and were held in memory of local boy Mathew Blease, who died
from an undiagnosed cardiac disease – viral myocarditis - aged just 13. |

The screening sessions took place
outside the town’s Tesco (Cowley) store; and were held
in memory of teenager, Sebastian English, who died suddenly from an
undiagnosed heart condition whilst playing rugby in 2004. He was aged
just 15. |

visits Handforth, Cheshire - 9th to 11th October 2010
The tour stopped in Handforth for three screening
dates held in memory of local man David Harrop, who died suddenly in
2007 aged just 31. The Handforth screenings received a great boost
when a number of Sale Sharks rugby players - including England
International Andrew Sheridan - visited the screening trailer to lend
their support. |

Tour 09 finishes in Brentford - 29th June 2009
Today, charity Cardiac Risk in the Young and health and
well-being company Philips unveil the first results from their
Test My Heart Tour 09. The tour visited 13 locations in
England and tested over 2,000 young people’s hearts to detect
any abnormalities that could lead to Sudden Death Syndrome.
