"Stars in the Club's Eyes" and Family Fun
Day in memory of Stevie Wiggins - April / May 2008
Money was raised for the Stevie Wiggins Memorial Fund
within CRY, through two events held at Preston Grasshoppers rugby club -
a "Stars in the Club's Eyes" talent show; and a Family Fun Day (the latter
combined with a rugby match). |

Charity Show in memory of Nathan Butler -
March 2008
A
grand charity show was recently held at Cobridge Coronation Club, Stoke on
Trent, to raise money for CRY and Mencap. The show featured comedy, music and
dancing, and the sell-out night was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. |

Charity concert in memory of Cecilia Barriga -
7th July 2007
Seven
young musicians organised and performed a charity concert in St. Edmunds Church,
Beckenham. The event was to raise funds and awareness for CRY, in memory
of Cecilia Barriga. |

Fernhurst frazzles to Blackdown magic - 8th June 2007
When
Blackdown announced that they would play the King's Arms at Fernhurst, it raised
the question could the boys rock such a major venue and keep the crowd buzzing
for a show running more than 2 hours? |

Charity Gig - Rosemary's Baby - 10th February 2007
Over 200 people turned up at Littleton School where we had
lights, staging, loud music and over 5 bands performing throughout the night. |

for CRY in memory of her brother Martyn. |

Charity gig in memory of Jennifer Finney - 16th September
2006
Chris Bath organised and performed at a charity gig
in memory of his girlfriend Jennifer Finney. Also performing at the gig
were Ciaran France, The Model Village and Soft-Use. The evening was a
fantastic success, raising awareness of CRY, and also raising over £1000.

Imperial
College London support CRY with Arts Fest 2006 - 6th to 10th February 2006
Hanna Barriga, a very talented musician and good friend of the Imperial
College Arts Festival committee, lost her sister Cecilia in May 2005 to an
unknown heart condition. The committee agreed with Hanna's suggestion that
Arts Fest 2006 should choose CRY as its charity to support.

Fashion Extravaganza - 20th October
2005
A fashion
show at The New Stadium in Swansea. On show were the latest Autumn /
Winter collections. Proceeds will go to a number of good causes including
CRY. |

An Evening of Songs For All - 17th
September 2005
A concert
was held at Kings School, Bruton, in memory of former pupil Alex Buckler.
The concert featured performances from two choirs - The Cider Singers and The
Quorum - as well as performances by some of Alex's friends. |

Celebration of Life Aesthete Show - 7th August 2005
Miniature horse show held in memory of Vicky
Johnson. This year's event featured a tombola, raffles, home made
flapjack, and even a fancy dress event for the miniature horses (and one Great
Dane!) |

exciting musical theatre production. There were four charity performances
of this show at the Devonport Playhouse, Plymouth. |

'Return to the
Forbidden Planet' charity performance - 12th May 2005
Kingston Vale Operatic and Dramatic
Society (KVODS) performed 'Return to The Forbidden Planet' in May
2005 and the opening night's ticket sales were donated to CRY. |

An
event held in memory of Vicky Johnson. A great day was had by
all, and CRY Teddy and QT Kanga joined in the fun too. |

Unforgettable'
by Tara Field
On 9th September 2000 I organised a song and dance show in aid of CRY. It was titled "Unforgettable" and was in memory of my sister Therese who died suddenly on 9th April 1997. The show raised £1262.63 and consisted of jazz, tap and ballet routines as well as some vocal numbers.
There was a cast of 60 ranging in ages from 4 to 37. |
