The World Famous Annual Santa Run - December 2009 (TBC)

Newtown, Wales

For one day of the year the sleepy mid-Wales market town of Newtown becomes a thriving sea of red and white, as people congregate to take part in the World Famous Santa Run.  Each year thousands of Santas descend on the town to take part in 4.5 mile festive charity fun run organised by the charity Newtown and District Dial A Ride.

Over the past six years, Santa Run has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes, national and international.

If you take part in this event your sponsorship money will be split 50-50 between Newtown and District Dial A Ride and the charity of your choice.  Participants in the Santa Run can choose to raise money for any charity, so this could be a fun and novel way to raise funds for CRY as the festive season approaches.

It costs £10 to register for the event, and in return for this registration fee you will receive a FREE Santa suit, sponsorship forms, and all the info you need about the event.  Furthermore, if you choose to run for CRY, we will supply you with a CRY t-shirt to wear over or under your Santa suit!

Teams of 10 people or more get a 20% discount on the registration fee - i.e. £8 per person rather than £10.
