If you take part in this
years event 100% of your sponsorship money will go to your
chosen charity and NOT split 50-50 as in previous years.
Participants in the Santa
Run can choose to raise money for any charity, so this could be the ideal
way to raise funds for CRY as the festive season approaches.
This
year's event will also feature a children's race and a wheelchair race.
There are also some fantastic
prizes to be given away this year, supplied by Vision Appliances on the
Vastre in Newtown. The prizes include 3 x 42 inch plasma
HD-ready, Freeview-enabled televisions; 2 x £150 Toys R Us vouchers for the
kids; and other smaller prizes to be given away via a draw on the
day.
It costs £15 to
register for the event, and in return for this registration fee you will
receive a FREE Santa suit, sponsorship forms, and all the info you
need about the event. You will also receive a goody bag upon
completion of the event. Furthermore, if you choose to run for CRY, we
will supply you with a red CRY t-shirt to wear over or under your Santa
suit!
Participants in the event
must commit to raising at least £20 in sponsorship. All money
raised by participants will go to the charity of their choice.
