The 'Silent at Heart' art project won three awards for the South East London Cardiac Network at the Cardiac Nursing Awards 2008 on Friday 25th April.

The project - partly funded by a grant from the Wellcome Trust and partly funded by CRY - received the following accolades:

Innovation in Arrhythmia Care - 1st place

Excellence in Primary or Secondary Prevention - 2nd place

Innovation through Service Development - 3rd place (joint)

CRY's Consultant Cardiologist Dr Sanjay Sharma was heavily involved with the project, and was present to collect the prestigious awards at this high profile event.
