Solihull News - 13th August 2004

The Dominic Lilley family fun day, which was held at the Sedgemere Sports and Social Club in Yardley, looks set to raise over £4,000 for charity CRY and Birmingham’s City Hospital.

Dominic Lilley suffered and survived a cardiac arrest last year at the age of 20 and is on the long, slow road to recovery.  Dominic’s friends lost out to an Aston Villa Old Stars side 14-0 at the event.  An auction was held after the match which helped raise £860.

CRY is a charity which raises awareness of cardiac risk in young people.
