CTC dance tribute to Kay

Solihull Times - 11th February 2005

Last week CTC, Kingshurst hosted a memorial dance tribute for Kay Wilson, a former pupil who died tragically last year, aged 19.

Kay died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in April 2004.

It is a relatively unheard of condition, which is generally referred to as adult cot death but it affects up to eight lives a week.

The dances were performed by members of the Whiteman Dance Academy to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), and a DVD has been produced for sale.

Kay is being posthumously awarded her Certificate of Higher Education at the Symphony Hall to recognise her successful first year at CTC, her parents will accept the award.
