'CRY' - by Alex Fuller (in
memory of David Williams)
"I recently held my 3rd Annual Halloween Charity Event in memory
of my son David. I have since unexpectedly received a written
song dedicated to my son David from a young boy who attended the
event, his name is Alex Fuller. It touched a chord with me and
certainly made me feel that my presentation about my son David
and CRY on the night was well listened to by this young boy and
hopefully the other 300+ guests." Sue Williams
Every day it takes a life,
everyday it gives us strife.
As the days pass it gives more grief
and it is just an unwanted thief.
Chorus
Donate to CRY, I'll tell you why,
just £5.00 CRY will have found
something to save a life.
People are dying young, far too young
they can't live their life to the full
just some money will help us pull them from dying
Chorus
CRY will stop them from dying young
stop their lives from being stung
Why do they have to die, please just tell me why?
Dying unknown first, that is the worst!
Chorus
I'm writing this song to tell you why
you should try to save a life
just help us please, we are on our knees..
Chorus
'Mama' - by
Silvar
Sheina Elms, Stephen's (Silvar's) mum, died in
April 2003 from SADS. She was 43 years old and had shown
no signs of heart trouble prior to her death. At post-mortem
they could find no reason for her death either. Silvar's
song, which he wrote some time ago, describes his feelings on
the day it all happened.
'Mama' (produced
by Okan) was also performed by Silvar on Sky One's reality show
"Must be the Music".

'In
Omnibus Rebus (Everywhere)' - in memory of Amy Black
Amy Black - opera singer of international renown - died suddenly
in November 2009, aged 36. This song has kindly been
provided to raise funds and awareness for CRY, in memory of Amy. The English translation is as follows:
In every little
flower, in every drop of dew, in the soft morning dawn, your
perfect hand is there.
In the moon, in the
water, in the sun and in the earth your infinite love, in the
moon, in the water, in the sun and in the earth your gentle
spirit lives.
In the pure voice
of a child, in the strong love of a mother, in the warm fire of
the evening, your perfect hand is there.
In the moon, in the
water, in the sun and in the earth your infinite love, in the
moon, in the water, in the sun and in the earth your gentle
spirit lives.
In every little
flower, in the pure voice of a child, in the strong love of a
mother, your gentle spirit lives.

'Sail My Ship Home' - by Thomas Shackleton Thomas was a great musician
who played the guitar and could make a tune on any instrument.
This was one of his songsthat we played at his funeral - and on his
gravestone we have a guitar engraved into the marble with the words “Sail my
ship home”.
Thomas was the
singer in a band called the "Slow Emotion” but this was a song he wrote and
performed by himself. We are so very fortunate to have Thomas’ music and to
hear his voice seems to bring him to life.
'Girl' - by James Poynton James Poynton wrote the words for
'Girl' when he was 8 years old. Just before his 12th birthday, James
died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart condition.
Whilst he was alive, James asked his
friend Barry Waring to set the words to music. Barry did
so, and subsequently was honoured to be asked to play the
finished song at James' funeral. The song has now been recorded under
the band name Daywalker (Barry Waring
and Dave Robinson perform the track).
