Football enthusiasts
gathered to raise cash in memory of one of their close friends.
The group of regulars at
the Sun Inn, in Newbottle, hold a regular charity weekend every year.
This year’s event was
particularly poignant because it was in memory of David Chance, who died,
aged 34, last December of heart problems.
He
had been a regular competitor in the various charity days held at the pub
in the past. Because of that,
the money raised on the day went to the Cardiac Risk in the Young (Cry)
charity.

part in a charity football match in aid of Cardio Research in the Young.
