Former Arsenal players Steve Gatting, Danny O'Shea and Brian Hornsby will join stars from the entertainment business for a charity match against Eastbourne United veterans today (Sunday). 

It is hoped the match at The Oval will rise thousands of pounds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). 

CRY is supported by Arsenal and aims to raise awareness of sudden death syndrome, which commonly affects young people under the age of 25. 

Among a  host of other well-known names taking part are Ralph Little from BBC's The Royale Family, Groundforce's Tommy Walsh, Joe Swash who plays Mickey in East Enders and Casualty star Patrick Robinson (Ash). 

Gates open at 11am with the match starting at 2pm.  Admission is £4 for adults, £2 for children or £10 for a family ticket.

Other attractions include a penalty shootout competition, a performance by the Hampden Park Majorettes, face painting, a display by Sussex Ambulance Service and TA and a raffle with a huge range of prizes including a shirt signed by the 2006 England World Cup squad, plus other football memorabilia.
