More than 30 runners from Abbey Gate College will be taking part in the Liverpool Corporate Cup on September 24. 

the Liverpool Corporate Cup is a five kilometre road race which will take place in Croxteth Park, Liverpool. 

Abbey Gate College has entered eight four man teams in the Charity Division.  The Abbey Gate teams are composed of teachers, sixth formers, ancillary staff, parents and friends of the college. 

This is the ninth consecutive year that the college has entered teams in the Liverpool Corporate Cup to raise money for local charities. 

Abbey Gate College's adopted charity this year is Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) - a national charity which seeks to raise awareness of potential abnormalities in young people.
