Eastleigh thespians have raised hundreds of pounds
for charity via their annual pantomime.
Money from the Concorde Club's pantomime charity
fund has been donated to the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) charity.
Club proprietor Cole Mathieson presented the
charity with a cheque for £1,750.
CRY ambassador Mary Abraham, whose 16-year-old son
Philip died in his sleep in 1995, said:
"It's fantastic to receive this amount of
money. We hope to put it towards a heart screening project for
teenagers in the local area."
CRY hopes to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death
Syndrome (SADS) and is campaigning to make national heart screening
available to people of all ages.
Pictured is Cole's son Jamie handing over the
cheque to CRY's Mary and Chris Abraham.
