Vietnam Cycle Ride

A 13-day charity cycle ride adventure exploring the amazing natural beauty of Vietnam.  Featuring 8 days of cycling, this trip will take you from traditional rice paddies, to rugged mountains, to white sandy beaches.  You will also see sights such as Heaven's Gate and the Dien Bien Phu war museum - and have time to explore the city of Hanoi.

You don't need to be an athlete to enjoy this charity cycle ride, although some training is advisable before undertaking this challenge (a training plan will be provided).  Some people take part with friends or family, but most people come on their own.  A great way to make new friends and raise money for CRY!

Low cost riding

Book online NOW!

In order for you to be able to take part in this fantastic charity cycle ride, we ask you to first make a non-refundable deposit of £349.   The rest of the trip's expenses will be FREE providing you raise a minimum amount of £2650 in sponsorship money.  CRY will receive at least £1325 for each fundraiser who takes part in this event.

Some participants choose to pay the deposit out of their own pocket, whilst others will do this initially and then later reimburse themselves from sponsorship money collected (from any monies raised over and above the event's minimum sponsorship level).

This event will be taking place from 24th October to 5th November 2009.  This should give you plenty of preparation time (e.g. to gather sponsors; book time off work; get in better shape, etc).

Fundraising help - we can help your fundraising by offering you a personal online sponsorship / donations web page free of charge.

"Our final cycling day is possibly the most breathtaking ride of the challenge.  Today is a long day so we have an early start.
An excellent smooth surface makes cycling a joy today as we pedal through some of the most amazing scenery we’ve
experienced so far as we head up to Heaven’s Gate.  We then enjoy a thrilling 16km downhill into Sapa where we have a chance to relax before our celebratory meal."
