Vote for CRY to benefit from Hudson Contract £20,000 donation

Four of the UK’s leading charities are calling on the people of the UK to vote for them to benefit from a £20,000 donation pot pledged by a construction firm that works with businesses nationwide.

The generous initiative is being launched by construction audit, contract and payroll provider, Hudson Contract to celebrate its 20th anniversary and also give something back to good causes that impact the lives of people across the UK.

Anyone can vote for their preferred charity at http://www.hudsoncontract.co.uk/choose-your-charity/ with each one receiving a percentage of the £20,000 pot based on the total number of votes it receives online before Friday 27th May.

The four charities appealing for the public’s votes are:

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) – preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families

Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) – charity funded lifeboat search and rescue service, dedicated to saving lives at sea

Children with Cancer UK – national children’s charity funding research, welfare and campaigning projects to help children with all types of cancer

The Lighthouse Club – construction industry charity dedicated to providing support to workers and their families

Ian Anfield, managing director of Hudson Contract, commented: “What better way to celebrate 20 years in business than by launching a charity initiative that will make a real difference to four fantastic causes that are very dear to our hearts.

“Voting takes seconds and we’d urge everyone to pledge their vote online before the 27th May.”
