Golfers tee off for charity

The Watford Observer - 10th September 2004

A memorial golf tournament in honour of a Kings Langley man who died suddenly will be held on Saturday, September 18.

Howard Jennings was 33 when he died of a heart attack in 1996, leaving behind two young sons.  His sister Keeley has organised the golf tournament to raise awareness of national charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

This will be the eighth annual tournament in aid of the charity and the amount raised from previous events is already more than £27,000.

Seventy players will participate in the event, to be held at Little Hay Golf Complex, Box Lane, Bovingdon.

First tee off will be at 7.56am and the last at about 10.20am.

For more information telephone Keeley Ashley on 01737 363222.
