Emlyn
was walking to the bus
stop to catch his bus to
school as usual on the
morning of 9th June
2010.
He
suddenly and
unexpectedly collapsed
and died despite the
valiant efforts of a
passing off-duty
policeman, attending
paramedics and doctors.
We
had the inquest at the
Westminster Coroners Court
on Wednesday 1st
September where it was
confirmed that he had a
‘sudden arrhythmic
cardiac death’.
His death came out of
the blue and has shocked
all his family and
friends.
He
was only 14½ years old,
but was very big and
strong for his age. He
was 1.87m tall and
weighed about 85kg.
He
was kind and gentle and
his schoolmates called
him the ‘BFG’ (Big
Friendly Giant).
