Win Tennis and CRY would
be delighted if you could join us for our second annual Gala Dinner. The
theme will be tennis-based in anticipation of an exciting Wimbledon
fortnight, with the aim of having a great evening with guests who have a
passion for tennis, combined with the serious business of continuing to
raise funds for CRY and the Win Tennis Scholarship Fund. In the past
year the Fund supported players who otherwise would not have been able
to join Win Tennis, and also assisted players travelling in the UK and
abroad to further their tennis careers.
The event will be held
in the beautiful Riverside Room, Savoy Place, with spectacular
uninterrupted views of the Thames from St Paul’s to the Houses of
Parliament.

We are also delighted
that Stuart Smith, President of the Lawn Tennis Association, has agreed
to endorse our event:
“I am
delighted that Win Tennis has asked me to endorse their Gala Dinner in
aid of CRY and the Win Tennis Scholarship Fund. Win Tennis embodies
many of the qualities that the LTA demands of a Centre granted High
Performance Centre investment. At the LTA, we are totally committed to
our new “winning” vision for the sport and firmly believe that greater
success at the top end of the sport will also ensure we grow the whole
game.
To achieve
this, support and funding for elite players is essential to help them
achieve their goals and, with your assistance, these players can
continue to build on the progress they have already made. Players
striving to reach elite standards also require a great amount of time
and commitment to give them every chance of success.
On behalf
of British Tennis and Win Tennis, I would like to thank you for your
continued support.”
Stuart
Smith,
President
of The Lawn Tennis Association. |
