Join Team CRY during Raising Awareness Week and complete 12 miles to represent the 12 young people who die each week from young sudden cardiac death.
You can complete 12 miles by either walking, running, cycling or swimming. The miles can be completed over the week or in one go!
How does the 12 A Week challenge work?
Participants are challenged to complete 12 miles by either Walking, Running, Cycling or Swimming. This can be done over the week, in one go or over a few days, but must be within Raising Awareness Week. The challenge officially starts on Saturday 14th November 2020 and will end on Sunday 22nd November 2020.
Who can take part?
Anyone can take part but we advise anyone under the age of 16, takes on the challenge in the presence of a responsible adult.
How do I get started?
Simply join the 12 A Week challenge event on Facebook! Don’t have Facebook? That isn’t a problem at all, we are very grateful for all donations received no matter how they are sent in. You can set-up a Virgin Money Giving page or Just Giving page for the challenge. Alternatively, if you would prefer to collect donations offline, you can download sponsor forms by clicking here
Is there a Registration Fee or pledge?
No, this event is free for anyone to take part! It would be wonderful if you took the opportunity to help raise awareness and money for CRY. Any money raised, can be allocated towards Ringfenced Memorial Funds.
