Due to the current situation we find ourselves in regarding Coronavirus and the fact the Virgin Money London Marathon has been postponed to Sunday 4th October 2020, we have taken the decision to move the CRY Heart of Durham Walk from Saturday 3rd October 2020, to Saturday 19th September 2020.We have made this decision based on the fact that we would like to provide each event with the focus and the attention it deserves, however, we are aware that the current situation is constantly changing and we will be closely monitoring this over the next few months.
We will be updating this webpage if the event status should change based on the advice given. We are sorry for the inconvenience this uncertainty may be causing for your plans for the event, but hope that you can understand the issues this unprecedented situation causes. If you have any questions about the event please email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to answer them.
The annual CRY Heart of Durham Walk offers the opportunity to show support for CRY, remember young people and help raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death. The walk takes in iconic sites such as Durham Cathedral and Castle, the River Wear, Durham Town Hall and Market Place, where CRY has a branded marquee with an awareness stand and water station.
Last year we were joined by 219 participants (along with their babies, toddlers and dogs in tow!) and as always, it was an emotional sight to see everyone coming together, to walk in memory and support of a young person.
We will update this page as further details of the day come in, please register your interest below to be notified when registration opens.
