Fundraising Ideas
Thank you so much for considering to fundraise for CRY. There are so many different ways to fundraise and enjoy yourself. Below are some examples of fundraising that have a great success rate. Simply choose something that works for you, let us know about it and we will support you the whole way through!
Cake Sale
Coffee Morning
Cake is always a good idea… you can host cake sales at work, school or your home and ask everyone to get involved. Whether they are shop bought or homemade it’s always good to have a selection that caters to everyone. For example maybe grab some gluten free or dairy free just in case.
Most people rely on Coffee to get them through the day – so why not start everyone’s day off right and host a coffee morning. Invite family and friends or even those you may have lost touch with and chat over coffee and cake. It is a great way to be social whilst raising funds.
Sports match
Quiz night
Holding a sports match is perfect if you have lots of people who want to help out but are also a little competitive… whether it’s a five a side game of football with your friends or a match for the local team, charge people a small fee for watching and have fun whilst raising funds for a good cause.
A quiz night is another fundraising event you can hold just about anywhere. Pick your venue and start writing those questions! Choose one theme or multiple and charge people a small fee for entry.
Games Night
Book Sale
Decide on a date and time and then invite who you like! It could be friends, family, colleagues or all of the above. Get them to donate a small fee for coming that can be donated to CRY and then have fun. You stick to board games like monopoly or battle ships or mix it up and have everyone arrive with a new game to play.
Everyone has unwanted books, so this is a great way to get the whole community involved with a book sale. We recommend catagorising the books into new, worn etc and price them accordingly. As well as raising money for charity, this is also a great opportunity to socialise with friends, family or others in the community you might not know – and of course, get a new book to read!
