The Bridges Walk provides supporters with the opportunity to connect with others, and remember those who have died from Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD).
Sunday, 23rd June 2024 will mark the 18th annual CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk. We hope that you will be able to join us in Southwark Park before setting off for a 6.5 mile route through London passing 12 iconic landmarks along the way.
Check in opens at 9am. The walk begins at 11am and finishes at 5pm.

Following the walk, we will once again be hosting the CRY Family Picnic. Surrounding the bandstand will be food and drink stalls, a seating area, entertainment, activities for children and, as always, our digital and physical message wall. Even if you can’t make it to the walk, you can still join us for the picnic.
Once again we will be having our digital and physical message walls on the day. Supporters will be able to upload their photos and messages for the digital wall up until 4pm on the day.
Our main CRY homepage will also transform into the digital message wall to raise awareness and show the true incidence of young sudden cardiac death.
We created My Walk For CRY to enable supporters who can’t make it to London on the day, to be able to take part in our flagship events.
We encourage you to join us from afar by walking your favourite route in your local area, the same distance as the Bridges Walk, on Sunday 23rd June. Once you register, you will receive the same as our regular walkers, including a medal once you’ve completed your walk.
The CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk is a great opportunity for companies to promote their brand to CRY’s large supporter base as well as to members of the general public. Our overall aim is to ensure that our event costs are covered, so that any money raised by our participants goes directly towards funding our core aims.
Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
