Knutsford First Responders Deliver Heart Screenings to More Than 100 Students

Knutsford Guardian, 10th of April 2019

Students at Knutsford Academy received free heart screenings delivered by Knutsford Community First Responders together with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). According to James Routs of Knutsford Academy: “This day is only made possible due to the generosity of the Knutsford Community First Responders and we are grateful for their support. This is the second year in a row we have held the day and the screenings were booked up immediately, highlighting how important it is to get your heart checked out. Plans are already in place to run another event in 2020.”

“The Trust is delighted to have been able to facilitate another screening day at Knutsford Academy,” said Lisa Johnson from Knutsford Community First Responder Trust. “It is so important to identify any cardiac issues in our young people to enable them to receive appropriate treatment, allowing them to reach their full potential and live long, healthy lives. We look forward to our next screening day in 2020.” Read More
