The Great Wilderness Challenge 2017

This physically challenging fund raising event has taken place in the Highlands of Scotland every August since 1986. The Ullapool Air Cadets have been involved since 1998 and have so far raised a total of £27,325 specifically for our adopted Charity – CRY’s “Joanne F. Fotheringham Memorial Fund”. Charity Bingo Night for Charlotte

Thank you to Stuart and the Gardiners Pub, Chelmsford for hosting a fun Charity Bingo Night on 24th November. It was great to have some fun so close to Charlotte’s 3rd anniversary – she would have loved it. Actually I’m sure she was there – just ask her friends and family who won. A whopping £994.36


Success Recruit had CRY as their 2017 charity

Thank you to Success Recruit, Chelmsford for choosing CRY as their charity for 2017.  Danielle Burdett and her colleagues chose to support The Charlotte Adams Memorial Fund after Dani lost her close friend Charlotte to SADS in 2014. A silent auction, raffle and pitch and putt were among the events to raise an amazing £1,200.


Strictly Dancing for CRY in memory of Alex Reid

Jamie Loncaster Memorial Fund hosts screening in Yorkshire

On the 31st October & 1st November 2017 the Jamie Loncaster Memorial Fund hosted two days of screening at South Hunsley School in Yorkshire. 113 young people were screened over the weekend, including Luke Wilson. Wilson was the 500th young people to be screened by the fund – he is pictured with Graham and Jenny Loncaster.  


Nicholas Family screening weekend

On the 18th and 19th November 2017, screenings took place at the Saints Rugby Club and Thatto Health Crusader ARLFC, St Helens, in memory of James Nicholas. 177 young people were screened over the two days.
